  A manufactured-wood slat kit ships with the headboard and rails. Center support legs brace the middle of the Queen frame so the platform stays steady under a mattress.

• Box spring required

  This frame is designed for a box spring plus mattress, both sold separately. Plan on that foundation if you want the intended height and support under a standard Queen mattress.

• Queen footprint

  Queen measures about 64.5 inches wide, 80.5 inches long, and 45.5 inches tall at the headboard. Underbed clearance is about 4 inches, so low bins fit better than tall drawers.

• Polyester over wood
