• Drawer storage at the foot

  Storage sits at the foot of the bed, not underneath it: the diamond-tufted footboard opens for linens and off-season clothing, its face finished in the same tufting as the rest of the panel with no handle breaking the pattern. This is drawer storage, not a lift, so what it needs is floor space at the foot end to pull open rather than headroom above the bed.

• Assembly, tools included

  Assembly is required, and the tools and hardware needed to bolt the headboard, rails and footboard together ship inside the box. The slat kit and the footboard's drawer storage are both part of the frame assembly, not separate add-ons to attach later.

• Slats over eight legs

  A manufactured wood slat kit ships with the frame and carries the mattress directly, resting over 8 center support legs, so there is no box spring to add for any size. The slats are part of the included frame, not a separate purchase.

• Full, Queen or King

  The bed is offered in three sizes, Full, Queen and King, each one carrying the same shell-tufted headboard and diamond-tufted footboard. Weight capacity climbs with the mattress size, so choosing Full versus King changes more than the footprint; it changes what the frame is rated to carry.

• 23 inches, 6.6 to spare

  The shell-tufted headboard stands 23 inches tall on its own, well below the wingback posts that frame it on each side. Underneath the frame, clearance runs 6.6 inches, room for a slim under bed box, though the footboard end is better used for the drawer storage than for anything slid beneath it.

• Velvet, MDF, built-in LED

  Beige velvet upholstery covers the headboard, rails and footboard in one consistent finish. The frame underneath is manufactured wood and MDF, and a built-in LED strip runs along the top edge of the headboard, its color tunable through a smartphone app rather than a physical switch.

• 800 to 1,000 pounds

  Weight capacity rises with the size: 800 pounds for Full, 900 for Queen, and 1,000 pounds for King. Each figure covers the mattress, bedding and sleepers together, carried down through the 8 support legs beneath the slat kit.

• Wipe the velvet, blot spills

  Wipe the velvet with a dry cloth for everyday dust, brushing in the direction of the nap so the pile does not flatten unevenly. Blot spills right away instead of rubbing, and keep liquids away from the LED strip along the headboard, since it is a built-in electrical element.

• What comes in the box

  The box includes the shell-tufted headboard with its LED strip, the frame rails, the diamond-tufted footboard with its drawer storage, and the manufactured wood slat kit, plus the hardware and tools to assemble it. The mattress is not included and is chosen separately for whichever size you order.
