Grevane Whalsay Upholstered Wingback Bed

This is an upholstered wingback bed with a manufactured wood and metal frame. The boucle upholstery is cream, and the base is a gray-brown oak-look plinth. The headboard is tall and rectangular with narrow straight wings, and there is a low upholstered foot rail.

Sizes sold: Full, Queen, King and California King. Queen overall: 67 inches W x 85 inches L x 52.5 inches H. Queen product weight: 101.6 lb.

• Slat kit included. Box spring not required.
• Center support legs. The base is a continuous plinth with no exposed legs.
• Manufactured wood and metal frame.
• Full assembly needed. All tools included.

• The wingback shape

The headboard is a rectangular panel with wings that run forward along the sides, tall enough to lean against and wide enough to frame the whole head of the bed.

• One height, all sizes

Every size stands 52.5″ tall, so the headboard height is settled before you pick a mattress. Width is what changes: Full takes 60.9″, California King takes 79.1″.

• No box spring

The slat kit is solid wood and ships in the carton. It carries the mattress directly on a metal-reinforced frame, so you skip the cost and height of a box spring.

• Built to hold weight

The frame is metal and manufactured wood, set on two center support legs down the middle. Every size, Full through California King, is rated 1,000 lb.

Good to know

• The Queen measures 67 inches wide and 85 inches long, so it suits a bedroom with space for a tall wingback headboard and a foot rail.
