Grevane Ardmair Upholstered Wingback Bed

Ardmair pairs an Ivory linen-blend wrap with a tall, vertically tufted wingback headboard. The finished back gives the frame a polished look from more than one angle.

Solid wood slats support the mattress directly, so no box spring is required. A solid and manufactured wood frame, center rail and six support legs provide an 800 lb. weight capacity in Full, Queen and King sizes.

Plan on two people for assembly. Tools are included, and the finished frame leaves six inches of clearance underneath.

• Wingback silhouette, channel tufting

  Vertical channels run the full width of the headboard, each seam stitched tight for a tailored, formal look. At the top corners, the panel eases back into a wing that returns toward the wall, giving the head of the bed a partly enclosed, cozy feel instead of a flat panel. The low footboard rail continues the same fabric and channel line.

• Assembly and hardware

  The frame ships flat and needs assembly: headboard, side rails, and footboard bolt together with the included hardware. Keep a Phillips or Allen wrench on hand, since no power tools are required. A Full or Queen goes together solo; a King is easier with a second person holding the headboard steady while you drive the bolts.

• Cleaning and care

  Dust settles fastest along the tufted channels, so wipe them down with a dry cloth each week to keep the ivory fabric looking fresh. Blot any spill right away instead of rubbing it in, and spot clean small marks with a mild, water based cleaner. Skip steam cleaners and heavy soaking, and vacuum the upholstery on a low, brush free setting for a deeper refresh.

• Floor clearance and height

  Floor clearance is 6 inches on every size, enough for a robot vacuum to slide under the bed without help. The headboard stands 24 inches above the deck, and overall height runs from 45.5 inches on a Full up to 46 inches on a King. If your ceiling is low or the headboard sits close to a window, measure that overall height before ordering.

• Rubberwood frame, linen blend

  The frame is built from solid and manufactured rubberwood, finished on the back as well as the front so the bed does not need to sit flush against a wall. Ivory, linen blend fabric is upholstered over the headboard, wings, and low footboard for a soft, matte surface rather than a shiny one.

• Full, Queen, or King

  This frame is built to one specific mattress size at a time, in Full, Queen, or King, with the rails sized to match so the mattress sits flush with no overhang. Confirm the mattress you already own, or plan to buy, against the size you order, since the frame itself does not adjust between sizes once it is assembled.

• Slats built in, no box spring

  A complete slat kit ships already built for the frame, so the mattress rests directly on solid wood slats with no box spring needed. Six center support legs run underneath the deck for reinforcement, keeping the slats from flexing under regular use. This is a platform style setup from the rails down.

• Weight capacity

  Every size in this bed, Full, Queen, and King, supports up to 800 pounds, the same weight capacity across the board so sizing up or down does not trade away support. That number covers the mattress and sleepers together, not extra weight stacked on top, and the center support legs are part of what gets it there.

• What ships in the box

  The frame, headboard, wing panels, and the complete slat kit are all included, so the mattress is the only thing you add. Assembly hardware and the tools list come with the package as well. A mattress and bedding are not included and are sold on their own, and the bed does not work with an adjustable base if that is part of your setup.
