Grevane Eday Upholstered Wingback Bed

Diamond tufting and nailhead trim turn a simple wingback frame into the room's focal point. The cream velvet stays soft against the eye while the wings hold their shape, so the bed reads finished with nothing else needed on the wall behind it.

Underneath the velvet is a solid and manufactured wood frame, kiln-dried, with a wood slat kit and three center support legs built in, so no box spring goes underneath. Headboard and slat kit arrive in the carton; assembly is required at home.

• Wingback velvet nailhead headboard

  Tall wing posts flank a diamond tufted headboard panel in cream velvet, with a line of nailhead trim running the full height of each post. The frame stays low and boxy at the footboard and rails, in the same velvet, on short, pale wood legs, so the wings do all the height.

• Assembly with included hardware

  The headboard, footboard, rails and center support legs arrive as separate pieces and go together with the included hardware and basic tools. The wood slat kit sets into the rails last, so the frame is ready for its mattress once everything is tightened down.

• No box spring needed

  A wood slat kit is included and spans the frame, so the mattress goes straight on top with no box spring required. Three center support legs run down the middle for extra stability, and the frame also works with a compatible adjustable base if you use one.

• Fits queen and king

  This bed comes in Queen and King only, each frame sized specifically to that mattress, so measure what you already sleep on before ordering; it does not come in a Full size. It fits mattresses roughly 8 to 16 inches thick, from a low profile foam mattress to a taller hybrid or pillow top.

• Wingback height low frame

  The headboard and its wing posts reach about 49.2 inches overall, tall enough to anchor a wall on their own, while the frame and footboard stay low and boxy at mattress height. There is only slim clearance under the rails, not deep enough for storage bins, since the height lives entirely in the headboard.

• Velvet wood wingback materials

  The frame combines solid wood with manufactured wood panels for the structure, with the diamond tufted headboard and wing posts fully upholstered in cream velvet. Nailhead trim in a metal finish runs down each wing, and foam padding underneath the velvet gives the tufting its shape and cushion.

• 1,000 pound weight capacity

  The frame is rated to hold 1,000 pounds across both Queen and King, backed by the center support legs running down the middle in addition to the rails and wing posts. That rating covers the mattress, bedding and sleepers together, not the frame on its own.

• Wipe clean velvet care

  Wipe the velvet down with a dry cloth or a soft brush in the direction of the nap, and spot clean any marks rather than soaking the fabric. Vacuum along the tufted diamonds and around the nailhead trim occasionally so dust does not settle into the seams.

• What ships with the bed

  The headboard, footboard, side rails, center support legs and the wood slat kit are included and arrive ready to assemble. The mattress, bedding, pillows and throw shown in photos are not included and are sold separately from the frame.
