• Tufted headboard, wing to wing

  Buttons run in a diamond grid across the headboard, evenly spaced from one wing to the other rather than gathered into a single center channel. The wings curve forward past the mattress edge and are trimmed top to bottom in nailhead studs, so the head of the bed reads more enclosed than a flat panel would.

  The bed ships flat in panels: side rails, the footboard, and the tufted headboard bolt together with the included hardware. Keep a Phillips or Allen wrench nearby, since the job needs no power tools. The headboard panel is tall and a little awkward alone, so a second person to hold it steady while you drive the bolts speeds things up.

• Platform frame, box spring required

  This ships as a platform frame, and it is designed for use with a box spring set beneath the mattress rather than resting the mattress on the rails alone. Skip the box spring and the frame loses the level, structured line the tufted headboard is built to sit above.

• Full, Queen, and King only

  This frame is built to one mattress size at a time, offered in Full, Queen, and King with the rails sized to match so the mattress sits flush rather than floating with gaps on either side. There is no Twin or California King option here, so confirm your mattress against Full, Queen, or King before you order.

  The headboard climbs well above the pillow line while the rest of the frame stays low and boxy on short block feet, leaving little clearance for bins or a vacuum to slide under the bed. Because the wingback panels curve forward and the headboard runs tall, leave it clear of a window or a sloped ceiling behind the headboard before you place it.

• Velvet upholstery, engineered wood frame

  Light gray, polyester velvet upholsters the headboard, wings, and front rail for a soft, matte surface that reads calm rather than cold. Underneath, the frame combines solid wood with engineered wood (MDF) for the panels that need a smooth, stable surface for tufting and nailhead trim, rather than using solid wood throughout.

  Weight capacity is tiered by size: 400 pounds on a Full, 500 pounds on a Queen, and 600 pounds on a King, covering the mattress and sleepers together rather than extra weight stacked on top. • Care for the velvet

  Vacuum the upholstery on a low, brush free setting to lift dust out of the tufted grid without flattening the pile, and wipe down the nailhead trim with a dry cloth so it does not dull. Blot any spill right away instead of rubbing it in, and spot clean small marks with a mild, water based cleaner rather than a steam cleaner or heavy soaking.
